The cooling system is largely an out –of –sight, out –of –mind scenario with most drivers ignoring it until the temperature gauge goes all the way up, or warning light comes on which is usually too late and results in overheating. If your heater is not putting out hot air but temperature gauge reads normal could indicate low coolant level , insufficient to supply heater core . Puddles or adding coolant frequently indicate leaks, and system should be checked as soon as possible.
